Construction Couture

ICC International was once again a sponsor of the Blount Habitat for Humanity Women Build Luncheon. The theme this year was Construction Couture. All teams were challenged to build an outfit using at least 50% construction material. Our team design featured Lowe's house wrap as the base, a beautiful skirt made with over 1000 steel and plastic washers, copper belt and a sawblade and steel plume fascinator. The accessories included halogen bulb earrings, a drawer pull ‘diamond’ ring, and a charm bracelet complete with wingnuts, bolts and nuts. To complete the ensemble, we included a house key necklace.

The ICC team thanks everyone who participated in helping "build" this masterpiece of a dress. Even guys who weren't officially on the team jumped in to help and we appreciate the support, our dress was certainty a show stopper.

ICC also wants to thank Tracy Queen, our General Manager who wore our beautiful (but heavy) dress and raised nearly $2000 on her own to support the Women Build Luncheon.

This is one of ICC’s favorite charities to support and we’re already looking forward to 2019. Congratulations Blount Habitat on another successful event!
